Honda Civic ESI Vtec Turbo






the honda guy's hardware is real crappy, when we boost 0.9 bars, his turboXS BOV went kapput! damn anti climax .... day 1 when sam told me his bov is crappy, i didnt really pay much attention to it... luckily it last long enough for us to pull a 0.8 ~ 0.9 bars before going home....

maybe the owner bought a fake BOV from taiwan or something man... we ran into a bunch of drag race junkies last evening... i think sooner than later, this drag strip of ours is gonna be watched by rovs....

so, this honda boost a steady 0.6 bars at 3000 rpm and full boost at 4500 rpm at 0.9 bars. Vtec All the way till 7500 rpm. we maxed out his main injectors and depended heavily on the subs to deliver the performance... i also got sam to sponsor the dyno which he agreed, cool. can add to my collection. hahaha... remember, he show me his current wheel bhp is 110. Dun think he will let me scan and upload la... very lao hong one.

I can tell that sam was ok with the results... so is the guy who is thinking about tc-ing his lancer... i think its real cool to fix up a famous workshop's car and that satisfying feeling of making it fast is nice, the pressure is very high because even the tuner is a very well known one, at least i feel that way la, then we go and clear off the famous ecu maps...... hahaha... knn, you try la, later *touch wood* car buah kia, liao man, lam par(fish balls) zeng (swollen) !!

some of the other things we fixed are the way this car generates and hold its boost. And also replaced his taiwan bata (buy and throw away) boost controller with the one beside - Apexi AVC-R. Nice.

I dunno, at the rate this guy mods his car, i give it to him. he bought a bag of flies and converted it to something golden. i think its either passion or hobby la. or hoa lian.... lam pah ichy?

After he fix up his taiwan bov, we gonna fine tune it further. see how much boost we can pull on this honda. We're gonna re-do his crappy intake runners and pipings too.
