Suzuki swift sport turbo charged

Suzuki swift sport turbo charged

Yes. One more... hahaha... this one has a slight variant. A different turbo. In the previous versions, we used a turbo capable of producing the power required in drag racing.

For this new setup, we produced a car which has a smoother power delivery from 3000~5500. This is more like a mid-range turbo which is better suited for street racing.

Emanage blue is used to control this setup as usual and owner together with his wife tagged along for the tuning session. Here, we're perfectly comfortable with owner tagging along, I do know of a few owners who will not tag along in fear of misadventures.... Ban tang a bit not bad idea la... I carry fire extingusher for tuning sessions... so, I can understand how they feel hahaha...

In the course of tuning, we had the opportunity to try with a colt version R who was tweaking something on his ride. With 4 person on board, we had no problems keeping up with this modified colt version R who has only 2 person on board. Cool. Colt version R was already boosting at 0.9 bars (at least) while our newly recruited swift sport turbo faired well with only 0.4~0.5 bars of boost.

Suzuki swift sport has the ability to compensate loading induced from heavier weight and is extremely sensitive to driver fetching fat chicks around. So, if you own this ride, try keep the car as light as possible to fully enjoy the car the manufucaturer designed it to be.

After we tuned the car, Sam went for another round of testings to ensure everything is in order. When the owner heard the sound of the wastegate (plus vvt opening) and rate of accelaration, both he and his wife were surprised at how their car sounded from the outside. They didnt believe this is the results if turbo charging a swift sport. I explained to them that the car is sensitive to load, so with 4 person on board, we can expect the car to be much much slower than 1 person on board. Cool. Just imagine, if we put a drag setup in this car, the owner is going to faint liaoz... hahaha... Oh, dun forget about the HKS BOV we put in... hahah.. woahhh... chiuuu...

verdict:
Up to individual. Street race or drag race?
This setup is perfect for street race. Not so suitable for day-to-day as the turbo does need about 3500 to generate full boost.
