It all began when we were on the dyno machine and no matter how we did it, the car produced a puny 280 whp on wheel... Based on our calculations, boosting the amount we're doing, the car should already be producing a good 500 on engine, but it is freaking crazy to see the figures at 280 whp. We suspect the Dyno machine is screwed. But, who in the world would believe your claim that the machine is screwed. People usually would not believe you and to make matters worse, if we push the car any further, the engine is bound for destruction, based on our experience of course.

Sam decided to call Bob. Bob's a flambouyant fella driving a wrx STI running on Dom 3 turbo, stock internals. Ours is a TD06-20g turbo and also wrx STI on stock internals, so, what we're trying to achieve is pretty similar to Bobs. We asked for a benchmarking friendly with Bob. Bob immediately accepted the run.

10 subaru wrx, 3 honda civics and a tow truck. Its a beautiful sight to see the highly modified rides making their way down to the drag strip. If I were to film this down, you would think this aint sillypore man.

Johnny's ride is mainly built for track and his skillset lies mainly on track and for him to run a drag, well, first off, his car looks like shit. Drag cars are usually very eye catchy, sleek, neat and sounds terrific. Johnny's track car looks like a dog when he pits against dragsters. Lucky him, Bob's a LTA friendly looking ride. :)

Rolling start.... Bob rolls side by side with Johnny, straight-on, GO! The entire drag strip is suddenly filled with Johnny's powervalve! Gear shifting is perfectly time and the PG 5 lap race champion quick shifting ensures every gear is engaged perfectly. Bob launches on 2 and got a good half car advantage over John. Gear 3 enagages, Bob's 380whp STI is side-by-side with John's 280 whp STI, Gear 4, John pulls right past Bob and crosses the finishing line 4 cars ahead of Bob. Once a champ, always a champ! All smiles and the euphoric atmosphere keeps us talking.

John pulls up but displays no expressions. Trade mark of tracksters? Or too used to winning? Jees....

Yes, dyno machine is screwed. Thats confirmed.

Race 2, Bob vs Xiao Jian! Hahahahaha.... ya, how can a drag race be without a drag car like xiao jian! hahaha... Although this drag strip is more suited for Alan's drag car, but sam decides to pit xiao jian's monster.

Go! From where I was, I was puzzled why xiao jian's car is so farking slow, I expected a clear win right from the start. Gear 2, Bob's in front! Gear 3, Xiao Jian is 1 car behind Bob. Gear 4..... Xiao Jian's monster Shoots past Bob at speeds and acceleration that is simply mind boogling!Wow! Everyone was like OMG! the classic win! Talk about showmanship and style. Xiao Jian dresses in long sleeves and selected his style of crossing the finishing line. Full decaled with all the necessary body kits to make this car cross the finishing line in style. All eyes is on him when he pulled over.

Bob was like wow... WTF did you do to your ride... hahaha..."You just went faammm...!" Bob said, demostrating with his hands how Xiao Jian flew past him. Xiao Jian's displayed no expression, just smile, hello and goodbye kinda person... hahaha...

What a night! Many thanks for Bob for lending us his ride for confirming that the dyno machine is indeed screwed. Bob's gonna do up his engine next... evil! Overall, everyone's pretty much happy and truely, if you're part of the process, you'll enjoy this much more than me!
