Honda Jazz iDsi Turbo charged

This L15A engine comes with the Vtec version and the iDsi version. With the iDsi version, the engine is designed to give better fuel economy and better torque. The engine design has alot of similarity to the Hybrids. Oh well, what we did to this ride was placed in a turbo kit and we kept the part on the torque thingy and controlled the 8 spark plugs for better boosting instead of fuel economy. We also added emanage blue unit with all the necessary fueling fittings to ensure this turbo kit work. The results is excellent. We basically screwed up the hybrid thingy and start dunking this ride with fuel and wash it all down with a Turbo!

Power wise, I estimated at least an increase of 30~40 bhp after the turbo was addded. The turbo used in this kit is slightly bigger than usual and this was purposely done to match the cvt's shifting zone, ensuring smooth delivery of power throughout the entire power band.

Anyway, who will ever suspect this ride to come with a turbo anyway...

Verdict:
You basically revamp the car for power instead of fuel economy. However, it lacks the luster of the Vtec version, this kit will only 'add-on' that 30~40 horse power which is extremely necessary for this underpowered car.

Highly recommended.
