Retuned Suzuki Swift Sport Turbo

Retuned Suzuki Swift Sport Turbo

Ok, we retuned the swift after owner removed 1 device which suppose to convert the fly-by-wire to throttle or something la... I thinks its just some transistor which make it on/off only. This device gave us losta of headache during tuning,... so much so that the overall response was affected negatively. I cannot find picture of this throttle enhancer thing on the web, one flat small and black thing that looks like shit, i mean look like those gaming cartridges?

So, after owner DIY removed the device which was hidden somewhere, we retuned the entire map. The improvement was immediately felt. Actually that time slot was suppose to boost up the Honda ESI turbo, Honda owner was kind enough to offer his slot to Swift Sport owner to retune his car. After retune, car was nice and fast. Turbo effect was much better. However, the idling is too low. We decided to drive back to Sam to request to adjust the idling higher.

Ai yoh, after adjustment, the entire map changed again. Ok, this time owner decide to leave the car behind and collect it tomorrow. It was like retuning an entire map all over again. Damn shack. Finally, yes, you guessed it, car was fully tune by 2am. 1 hour earlier than expected. haha

Overall Verdict :
Good. Car is more responsive and the turbo effect can be felt. 'G' is good at around 3k rpm at 0.4 bars of boost. A lot of tweaking here and there to make this turbo kit work and its definately no simple task. Butt feel should give about 170~180 bhp on crank. Smooth idling, no stalling, not like last time when the throttle "enhancer" was installed, car tends to stall once a while and for a day or two. Car is running on emanage blue but, I felt that emanage ultimate is more suitable for this car for better idling and stability. If you have the budget, get the emanage ultimate. No regrets.

side track abit. Honda esi turbo clocked 480km per tankful. Not bad for turbo charged car!! Just completed servicing, new oil, new spark plugs.
