Lancer Ex 1.5 turbo

When the MARsians descend to earth, they left behind their pet. Space chimpanzees are equally perculiar like sam. Then you have space chimpanzee and sam talking at different monkey frequencies, you have trouble.

Somehow, this silly and stupid relationship between the marsian mammal and sam work well enough for certain reasons. While the earthly tuner watches their conversation with high level of curiosity and the need to equal the frequencies for the 2 parties to communicate at times. If you do not know what the fark I'm talking about, you're definately an earthling like me, and you have never met a space chimpanzee before... :)

Space chimpanzee owns a beatifully modified ride, with the right mixes of colours and shades, one that deserves the centerfold of every car magazine. Putting a turbo charger in a lancer 1.5 Ex is not the easiest thing to do in town and owner decided to upgrade his unichip Q and go for Emanage ultimate. Nervana!! Nothing beats trying it out yourself and feeling how smooth the car reacts to such a powerful ECU. Unichip Q work fine as well without any problems except for some functions unique only to emanage ultimate which can be use to make this ride even faster and smoother....

Till date, not many around the world have successfully deciphered the nits and grits of the emanage ultimate's capability, and the poorly translated japanese manual that comes with it only added to the confusion. Making this ECU perform is not only self satisfying, it also proves the point that this ECU is indeed capable of tuning even the most technologically advanced rides in town.

What we have in this ride is a good 200 bhp and very smooth transmission between gears. Talking to space chimps demands that you know your stuff well. Marsian by nature is smart and their ability to absorb everything I say only proves the point that marsian are indeed a superior being... :) It is easy for me to describe things like compressor surge effect, transmission requirements and stuff with them and to know that they fully understand the theoretical reasonings behind the answers only make the conversation more interesting.

Overall, this ride performs well over the full speed range, whether it is till 100km/h or 190 km/h, this ride performs without any problem. Cel codes like p1241 and stuff are elementary by now and all attention spent now is on preserving the engine and its precious transmission. Today, talking to owner is not about cel code problems but about either to make the ride even faster, whether it will be which electronic boost controller and stuff.

JX is always on my mind each time I tune an Ex... :)

Dear tuners,

Great blog, I own a EX 2008 1.5l and I am intersted to add the Turbo kit and boost this car up. I am worried though about the engine , can this engine hold on all the boost its getting, will it affect on the long run the engine performance?
I am currently in Syrian arab republic and any information you guys can help with is much appreciated..

I am not sure If I will find this kind of kits in syria or in the near countries, so If I decided to order this kit from you , how much support will I be able to get to make it work, I understand that installing this is not easy ( needs alot of tuning)

also is it possible to get better horse power but with out the Turbo ( I know its limited) but how much as I am worried about the engine

If I can get the 109BHP to jump to 150 or 160 range that would be good for now on a 1.5L engine..

Thanks alot hope to see more nice blogs on the lancer EX
